Ceramic deep red poppy

This deep red ceramic poppy is one of my wall-hanging flowers, made in stoneware so it can live happily indoors or on an outside wall all year round.

I hand-shape and glaze each one in my Dorset studio, so no two are ever quite the same. The layered glazes give a rich, slightly unpredictable finish – which I really enjoy.

I like to hang these in little groups, especially with different colours and shapes. But they hold their own beautifully on a wall by themselves too
