Large ceramic ocean tapestry - wall hanging

This piece is inspired by the sea — its rhythm, its colours, and the calm it brings. I’ve glazed each ceramic disc by hand in soft coastal tones, from pale seafoam to deep blue, and suspended them from a length of driftwood I found, cleaned, dried and preserved with wax myself. The wood still holds its natural shape and texture, which gives the piece its quiet, organic feel.

It’s roughly 100cm  wide and 65cm drop and hangs beautifully on a wall — over a bed, in a hallway, or anywhere that needs a little stillness and movement at the same time. No two discs are quite the same, and that’s what makes it feel alive.
