Ocean vase large

This large hand-built stoneware vase is inspired by the shifting colours and energy of the sea. Deep blues and soft turquoise glazes flow across the surface like a wave, layered and brushed to create movement and depth. No two are the same – each one is individually made by hand in my studio.

Glazed inside and out, this piece is watertight and ready for fresh flowers, ceramic stems, or simply as a sculptural object. I like using it for a mix of ceramic blooms and real greenery – it’s tall and striking enough to hold its own as a centrepiece too.

Fired twice to over 1200°C, it’s made to last – tactile, strong, and full of character
